Nothing would put these two in close proximity for more than a few minutes except Amanda's best friend Brody, who just happens to be Nick's half brother. So begins a cross country road trip to bail Brody out of a bad situation that leads to Amanda and Nick discovering one another's hidden depths, anxieties, and an unexpected shared chemistry that neither of them saw coming. But they're still all wrong for each other, right? And, then, there's the well acknowledged truth that Brody wants to break out of the friend zone with Amanda. Can this road trip get any more complicated?DRIVEN TO TEMPTATION was a fun, well-paced delight featuring an interesting plot, solid characterization, moments of angst and a bits of naughtiness. I loved the alternating point-of-view that allowed me to see inside Nick's and Amanda's hearts and minds and their moments of realization and strife were really authentic. For a novella length, this story was pretty amazing. It's one little fault was the ending because I expected to be in Amanda's head for her final debate on her mixed feelings; instead it was just a quickly wrapped up conclusion.

Fabulously sexy short story with a great balance of humor, drama and sexiness. Amanda and Brody are best friends though he’s always wanted more. When Brody finds himself in trouble, he calls his brother Nick to come and rescue him but Amanda insists on tagging along on the road trip. Of course, the one challenge is that Nick and Amanda are like oil and water, never getting along. What happens when they end up in a car together for 5 days straight? Will they realize they do have something in common, other than Brody? Amanda and Nick kept me intrigued, knowing under all that hostility there could be a powerful connection.
The interaction between Nick and Amanda during the road trip is humorous, sarcastic, sexy and downright hot at times. Amanda is a little prim and proper and Nick is a typical young partying man. Oil and water turns into oil and vinager real fast after they are forced to stay in each other's company during the trip.

A wonderful short story! Brody has landed himself in trouble. Across the border in Mexico, No passport, no cash, no car. He turns to Nick- his brother, to come and get him. When Amanda, his best friend, gets wind of the plan, she insists on going with him. Brody has had a thing for Amanda forever. Unfortunately, she doesn't return the sentiment. Nick is NOT her favorite person, nor she his, but they embark on the trip to get Brody. They don't particularly like each other, but when confined during the several day car ride, those feelings start to change. And boy do they change! Good short, sexy fun read!

Amanda and Brody have been friends since sixth grade, although Brody has expressed many times he wants more than just friendship. Amanda is content with the status quo because there is no chemistry there for her. When Brody calls and needs her and his brother Nick to come get him in ElPaso, something strange happens. Amanda and Nick, combatants for years, find a chemistry that is explosive. Both are shocked to discover it. Once they finally have Brody safely with them and what happened between them comes out, Nick is devastated when Amanda just pushes him away. But has she really been able to walk away from him ?
I liked the story and the journey to them figuring it out but the ending seemed not as climactic. It was missing an extra something that would put a cherry on top of this story
This was a fun ride/read. Nick and Amanda are perfect together. If you've never read anything by Ava Catori this is a great introduction to her writing.
Loved the banter between Amanda and Nick. However, I think she's a stuck up wench. Got to love when characters try to fight their attraction to one another, after playing head games. It always keeps the reader on edge wanting to know happens next. But I have to say I wasn't thrilled the ending. But a cute story nonetheless.
