Oh my! I loved, loved, loved this book. I've been a Fox fan since she began her career in the paranormal genre as Kim Fox several years ago with her Smokejumper Werebears series and have witnessed the metamorphosis as Fox transformed from a fledgling new author to a talented wordsmith and exceptional word slinger. Her extraordinary gift as a storyteller has never been more apparent than with the release of Cancun, the first offering in Fox's Bad Boys on the Beach series. Cancun is a fast-paced, easy-to-follow, well-crafted, full-length standalone romantic comedy filled to the brim with the perfect combination of steamy romance, outrageous humor, hilarious hijinks, sexy bad boys, and of course, let's not forget the dash of the emotionally gripping angst to make things more interesting. The narrative is beautifully written in the first person with clearly defined his and her perspectives. The dialogue is smart, snappy, well executed and quite often, hysterically funny. I laughed, snorted, snickered and giggled through the entire book. But my favorite element of this sexy fun-filled romp is the characters. They are captivating, engaging, relatable, and realistic. I found myself chuckling as I compared them and their lives to the people I've known in my life. I was immediately smitten with the two protagonists, the lovely and somewhat shy auburn-haired Tanya and the handsome bad boy tattoo artist Ethan. Their interaction, banter, and sexual chemistry are simply spellbinding. I was immediately drawn into the story in the first chapter and found myself completely riveted from the first page to the last.
The story begins with Tanya boarding a plane to Cancun with her unattentive, freeloader, kinda-sorta boyfriend Aaron along with the wedding party of her best friend Megan. Tanya is not a confident flyer and always get air sick, much to her dismay. While on the plane, she first sees the panty-melting hot Ethan who she discovers is the groom's cousin. What ensues during the next week is pure pandemonium after finding her skeevy, smoocher, kinda boyfriend balls deep in the very conceited and unlikeable sister of the groom Stephanie who also happens to be her best friend's maid of honor. Yikes! Naturally, as the old adage says, every cloud as a silver lining and Tanya found hers when she discovers Ethan is more than a little attracted to her. Thankfully, as in life, karma can be a real b*#ch and both Aaron and Stephanie both get their just rewards. And it's fabulous!
Did I like this book? No, I LOVED it! Would I recommend it! You bet, but only for adult readers since it does contain some steamy dreamy sex scenes and our hero Ethan is a very bad boy with a deliciously naughty mouth. Will I read this author again! Absolutely! And finally, was I entertained? Totally! Fabulous entertainment and an awesome read!

This is my first book by this author Kimberly Fox and i am going to be looking for more of her books. I really enjoyed Cancun. The story is about Tanya a curvy beautiful woman who is heading down to Cancun for her BFF's wedding . On there first night there she caught her douche and leach of a boyfriend ball's deep in between the maid of honors legs. After his betrayal she is finally ready to part ways. While in Cancun she meets Ethan. Ethan is the groom's very sexy cousin. He was the type of man who went for what he wanted and he wanted Tanya. Sparks flew and it was intense between them too. Lots of hot sex for the couple. The book was very enjoyable and hard to put down can't wait to read more from Kimberly Fox
I always enjoy entertaining stories that make me laugh, have much drama and a happy ending and this story pleased me. Tanya’s character was hurt because her bestie had chosen another to be the maid of honor in her wedding. Tanya was fearing that Aaron, her boyfriend, was no longer interested in her and while they were in the resort with the wedding party, Aaron cheated on her. Also, the groom’s sister was awful bullying her. What else could happen? Ethan was a player, owner of a tattoo shop, the cousin of the groom and he had a close eye on Tanya. He was totally hot, sexy male and he went after what he wanted. Loved the chemistry between them. This story had a good pace, interesting story line, romance, hot sex, lots of humor, an envious and evil woman and nice and supportive friends. The funny songs that Tanya and Megan brought me memories. The good narrations and dialogs made me enjoy the descriptions of the activities the characters were involved. Like how the author builds the characters and keeps the reader anticipating and waiting for the action to take place.

Reading this book was such a witty good time! Tanya summed up her bad boy Ethan perfectly he is a puffer fish. Hard and bad arse looking on the outside but with a soft and sweet heart on the inside. Tanya is his complement curvy in body, gentle natured and slightly nerdy on the outside with a heart that has been recently stomped on and lacking in trust. These two together not only make each other frequently laugh, but they made this reader laugh out loud right along with them. They get along fabulously while on vacation, but do they have enough in common to withstand long distance dating once they return from Mexico?
This book was a pleasure to read! All characters were well developed and the plot transitioned smoothly and was wildly entertaining. Steamy sex scenes and laugh out loud moments make this book an absolute must read! I highly recommend it!

Oh, I just loved this book. It had me laughing and angry right along with the characters. It kept me turning the pages and coming back for more. I felt the story was realistic and believable, although at times I would have became a bit of a crazy towards Aarron and Rachael, instead of Tanya's calm and somewhat passive way. The writing was done really well, as well as the character development.
Honestly, for me, I was pulled in really quickly with Tanya and Ethan's story. Two totally different people who found each other in the middle of what could be considered the worst and most chaotic time for both of them to find love, but love happens unexpectedly and with neither one realising it's there. I also loved how, after they get together, they both seem to help each other to become someone stronger, better. They help each other grow in a way that just comes naturally for both of them.
Overall, this "unexpected love" love story is definitely one that you must have for the kindle. It's one to fall in love with and one you'll never want to end. I loved it and would definitely recommend it to anyone that's looking for a steamy, unexpected love story that ends with you wanting to read the book that comes next!
